Right on the heels of the Ron Paul controversy is a poll that AOL asks readers: was Lincoln wrong to declare war on the South?  We at BANA resoundingly reply an affirmative YES and a surprisingly high number of Americans agree:

Let the world know your opinion and set the record straight on the freedom of self-determination!

Yet you don't support Dr Ron Paul?

Even when such folks as Keith Preston and his site http://www.attackthesystem.com and Strike The Root
( http://www.strike-the-root.com/72/allport/allport5.html ) are supporting Dr Paul? When the powers that be do all that they can to shut him down and shut him up - and we help them by ignoring such? Just seems to be the wrong strategy right now, at least me.

I don't know what supporting Ron Paul is supposed to mean. I agree with parts of his platform sure. But as a Senator and represntative of a System I am completely opposed to I won't be holding my breath for his defeat in the Republican primaries. I am an anti-statist and although Paul is the most admirable candidate on the field I must consider him an enemy to my principals. I would prefer it if the worst possible candidate wins the 2008 Presidential election and at this point it's looking like that person is Obama.
